The founding members of Rengelekel Belau are Jahmila K. Kuartei, Elangel Y. Mesubed, and Jubilee K. Kuartei. 

This organization was partly inspired from the annual Rubekul Belau Forum and Mechesil Belau Conference.  The idea of a national youth conference to address issues, needs, and interests of Palau's youth would complement the work of the traditional men's and women's conferences. Rather than a single annual event, we began to envision a series of events and projects that would reflect the diversity of Palauan youth and strengthen their cultural identity.  We believe in cultivating an environment where young minds thrive, where inspiration meets action, where creativity and resilience are nurtured, and where Palauan youth strive for personal excellence and collective action that transforms their communities.
