We are launching our Rengelekel Belau Series in 2027!!

The original concept when we started Rengelekel Belau in late 2025, was for an annual conference, inspired by Rubekul and Mechesil Belau, focused on youth, led by youth.  We spent this last year, learning about the needs, interests, and opportunities for youth in our communities and now we are ready to a launch this signature program in 2027:

• Rengelekel Belau would be a series of three (3) annual events for youth (ages 13-24)

  • Event 1: Celebrating the Month of Youth (March)

  • Event 2: Youth Fair (July) - featuring several activities focused on personal development of youth

  • Event 3: Youth Expo (October/November) - our signature annual showcase to highlight youth - athletes, artists, vendors, entrepreneurs, performers, leaders, musicians, historians, writers, growers, makers, gamers, debaters, organizers, promoters, etc. This will be the final event each year to provide a nationwide platform for Belau's youth to shine and show us what they bring to our community.

• Activities between each event in the series would be leading up to the annual Expo event to showcase youth talent, ideas, needs, projects, and performances.

Our Youth Day Committee is led by Rengelekel Belau, Palau National Youth & Cheldebechel Council, and the Division of Youth & Career Development, MHRCTD.  Each year, Palau celebrates Youth Day on March 15th. We are planning to promote a month-long calendar of events and activities focused on youth (ages 13-24).

To join our committee or to discuss sponsorship and partnership opportunities, please contact Mia Kuartei at 775-3449 or mia@rengelekelbelau.pw.

We are promoting events and activities that support youth to thrive in our communities. Any event, program, activity, or opportunity that you want to promote for youth can be added to the calendar.  Once we receive your event info, we may contact you for additional details. We will review your information and add the event to our Google Calendar and this website. If you have a flyer to share, please send it to calendar@rengelekelbelau.pw.
